'I'm amazed at the ease with which Lisa's Stop Smoking Today session has completely removed my urge to smoke. Although I was not a heavy smoker, I tried and tried to quit but always lapsed in the pub or when things got a bit stressful at work. I still get the odd urge but it soon passes as I immediately tell myself all the reasons I'm thrilled that I no longer smoke - health benefits, no longer stinking of smoke, saving money, no longer needing to rely on a drug in that way, and having a positive influence on other family members and friends who're struggling to kick the habit.'

'Lisa's presentation of the HypnoBirthing coursework was both thorough and enjoyable - she put so much energy and research into making it entirely beneficial and rewarding for both of us. The course is filled with great tools and techniques for relying on Mother Nature's most instinctive and powerful resources in childbirth - we have no hesitation in recommending both HypnoBirthing and Lisa.'

'Going to see Lisa Jackson about my dental phobia definitely helped me combat it. I was so phobic that I used to cry before I even plucked up the courage to pick up the phone and book an appointment. I needed to have three injections and four small fillings, and afterwards the dentist remarked that I was a very good patient. Although I'm not completely cured, I've seen a real improvement, and it was less of an ordeal than it has been in the past. I intend to continue with the self-hypnosis and hopefully will get even better.'

'After five attempts at passing my driving test I decided to try hypnotherapy. During the sessions I began to realise that my problem wasn't the driving itself but my lack of calmness and concentration. By practising self-hypnosis I was able to start feeling more focused and when I took the test again, I passed! I now feel very confident on the road and recommend hypnotherapy to all my friends.'

'I originally went to see Lisa to try to improve my punctuality. However, after only a couple of sessions it became obvious that my failure to be punctual was just a symptom of a lack of confidence. Once Lisa had helped me feel better about myself, the lateness problem simply went away by itself. I still practise self-hypnosis, and use the relaxation techniques she taught me when things start to get a bit stressful. Since seeing Lisa for the first time six months ago my life has changed beyond recognition. I'm doing well at my studies with the Open University and am going on a week's residential school this summer, which I've been avoiding for years. Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool and Lisa Jackson is a master craftsman. I simply cannot thank her enough for what she has helped me to achieve.'

'I have very sensitive teeth and injections have never been a very effective form of pain control for me. So when I was told that I needed root canal treatment I was extremely nervous. I had two sessions with Lisa and she also let me record the second session on my IPod. I listened to it every day the week before I went to the dentist. When the day came I felt quite calm. One of the suggestions Lisa had made was that the anaesthetic injection would work well for me this time, and so it did! I was in the chair for over an hour and I can honestly say that it was a pain-free experience. At the end of it the dentist told me that I would need a second appointment and that was fine, too. I certainly think that the hypnosis helped to work with the anaesthetic and I was able to remain focused and calm throughout the experience.' JS, Clapham
'Bruxism is a horrible cycle - you're stressed so you clench your teeth, and that stresses you even more. Hypnotherapy really helped me to confront the things that make me stressed, and made me focus on what is and isn't important in my life. By continuing with the programme of self-hypnosis Lisa Jackson suggested, my bruxism eventually became much less of a problem. Last week, I had two job interviews and a deadline for a project (I'm doing the final year of my degree) - all in one day. Whereas I'd have clenched my teeth for a week before such a stressful situation, I was surprised to find I didn't clench for a single night beforehand!'
